Full description | The Nash family, Little Buckswood farm, Crawley. Three generations of Nash family (including baby Jack b. 1914, d. 2006) sit on a log infront of the timber-framed house. Three of the four men wear straw boater hats and have moustaches. The farm was located on the old Horsham Road, on the west side of what became the roundabout at the crossroads of Crawley Avenue and Horsham Road. In 2009 this site was home to Cheals Garden Centre. From left to right; Betsy Nash (wife of George Nash who is absent from the photograph), Clara Nash, baby Jack Nash, George Nash Jnr, ? Hunt, Maud Nash, William Saunders, ?, John Nash, Lizzie Saunders nee Hunt. George and Betsy Nash farmed at Little Buckswood Farm from 1908 to 1917 when the business was passed onto son John.
