View across field and hedge to The Towers, large stone building with castellated round towers at the corners, built c1880 for Mr. George Smith. It became a convent school in 1903. On left is entrance to drive flanked by low stone tower and ornate walls, sign above wall "Convent of the most Holy Sacrament, school for young ladies". |
