Full descriptionBayleaf Farmstead, Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, Singleton. Ground floor interior showing the open hall, timber construction, wattle and daub walls, oak beam ceiling, timber slatted windows, fire place in foreground. Traditional wooden sideboard, chests, stools and tables. Bayleaf was built in the 15th C. at Chiddingstone, Kent. It was dismantled in 1968 and re-erected in the museum in 1971.
