Full description | Rock Buildings, Bognor Regis. Lithograph print of the crescent of 11 houses built by Daniel Woham in 1804. It was Bognor's first seafront terrace. They were let by Woham as summer residences. Later owned by Mr Reg Pullin. The houses were used as hotels from 1917 until the 1970s. They were demolished in 1980 and modern flat have replaced them. Bathing machines on left. Rowing boats. People walking along the promenade. Children with toy wooden hoops in the garden on the right. Windmill in background. Selsey in distance. Horse and carriage in front of the buildings. |
