Full description | Air raid on RAF Ford. The aftermath of a German Stuka bombing raid during the Battle of Britain. Smoke is billowing from the buildings which can be seen behind a fenced area. The attack killed 39 people. This attack took place two days after a similar attack on Tangmere. Wartime West Sussex 1939-45 Project.
