Standing in front of the forge building are (left-to-right): unidentified man; George Dunlop, smith; Margaret Overington and her father Alfred Overington; Albert Wratten, resident of Pond Lane, holding the head of a Coote's Bakery delivery horse; and Albert Lish, smith. A sign on the wall of the forge reads: 'A. Overington, Estab. 1791. Shoeing and general smith. Heavy and light tyreing. Hot and cold water cisterns. All kinds of iron fencing supplied.
