Full descriptionPease Pottage Hill, Crawley. Postcard showing the view down Pease Pottage Hill. To the left is a lodge behind a high iron fence. Telegraph poles run down the left side of the road. On the reverse side of the card it written "Visit to Crawley Aug 1915. On Sunday afternoon father and I walked here from the hotel while mother and Mr & Mrs Escrett were resting. It is a very pretty road London Rd, by some very fine old trees and the view everywhere is delightful, but the motor traffic mad it rather bad walking". Same author as L000605.
