Full description	Leonard Sims on his allotment in Homefield Park, Worthing. Leonard Sims looks towards the camera as he digs his allotment with a spade. There are many plants growing and a wire fence. There are trees in the background. Homefield Park was turned into allotments as part of the Dig for Victory campaign during the Second World War where people were encouraged to grow their own fruit and vegetables to help the war effort.
