Full description | The Stamp House, North Bersted, Bognor Regis. Interior view showing the original "stamp room". The decoration using stamps was begun in Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee year, 1897, when Richard Sharpe, landlord of the Rising Sun Pub, accepted a wager to decorate one room entirely with stamps from his collection.
