Full description | Royal Mail Coach, Friar's Oak Hotel, London Road, Hassocks. Royal Mail parcel post motor coach (London to Brighton run) is on the left and in front of the Friar's Oak Hotel on its first journey on 2 June 1905. Men are standing beside the coach, and other men are standing on the right. The hotel has a tiled roof with tile hung and brick walls. Tall Brick chimneys. Hotel later became the Pilgrim Goose. |
