Full description | St John's Priory, Poling, north of Littlehampton. View across lawn to front of St John's Priory, also known as Fairplace Farm. The house was built c1830 incorporating a Commandery of Knights Hospitalier of St John of Jerusalem. The right-hand section between buttresses and including a pointed stone doorway is built of flint and represents the medieval hall and chapel. Left-hand section of brick was built c1830. Greenhouse or conservatory on left. |
