Full descriptionOld Houses, High Street, Crawley. View of a timber-framed Wealden houses with jetties and leaded windows, known as The Old Houses. The building was restored in the 1920s and became the Punch Bowl restaurant (also known as the Punch Bowle). In 1952 it became the premises of the National Provincial Bank then National Westminster Bank, and in 1994 re-opened as a pub. Postbox on far right corner of the building. Roger Bastable Project.
