Full description | The Bell inn, Henfield. Large timber-framed building on corner of High Street and Church Street. Roof possibly Horsham stone, inn sign "The Bell, Dudney's Celebration Southdown Ale". Two men holding tankards in doorway. Signed, dated and titled in lower right corner. The Bell was demolished in 1902 and the Henfield Tavern later built on the site. |
