Full descriptionFour children pose outside The Abbey, Church Street, Storrington. Built in 1871-82 by the Rev. George Faithful, the abbey became a private house in 1880. In 1900 it was let to Mr Trotter and was sold in 1911. It later became a Dominican convent and boarding school. The four children are dressed in upper class winter clothes.
